Keys To Effective Spiritual Treatment

The screen has not made them, the screen is not responsible for them, and the screen cannot do anything about them even if it wanted to. The images are being experienced on the screen, true, but they have nothing to do with the screen. Their reality exists in and as the reel of film; the screen simply presents images of their existence. If we are unhappy with the images, we cannot go to the screen to make changes to them. Changes can only be made at the source—the reel of film.
    In the same way, we cannot go “out there” to that which seems to be (person, body, place or condition in need of healing) and expect to affect changes there. Nothing “out there” of either good or bad is taking place where it seems to be taking place. To find and witness the truth of anything and everything, we come “here,” to our deep
withinness and purity of being. “In here,” in oneness—in “the secret place of the most high” (Psalm 91)—we find the God of all, and its perfect image and likeness as our experience.
