 Attempting to bring God “down here, to this local place” to heal a human or material condition is impossible.

For as long as we continue to attempt such a thing, we have to fail. Let me just say, I was the best at such failure until the moment truth illumined within me just enough so that I could stop the nonsense of attempting to “bring God down here” to heal me, to pacify me, to harmonize me.

Such a feat is as impossible as attempting to personalize sunshine for my benefit.
