You shall tread upon the viper and adder; you shall trample under foot the lion and the great serpent. Because he has loved me,

“Because he has loved me”—because we have lifted our awareness to God, to truth, to the incorporeal, to the spiritual; because we trust God as the all-of-all good of life, we become immune to the discords and limitations, to the pain and suffering of “this world” consciousness.

We shall “tread upon” them, we shall “trample them underfoot” as the nothingness they are in truth.
